Rohan Fisher conducted a half day workshop at the large state university Nusa Cendana in kupang on GIS and remote sensing technologies for land resource mapping and monitoring. There where about 60 academic and government staff in attendance from a broad range of faculties and departments. The lecture was useful for introducing a variety of new land management technologies and promoting PSLP activities. The event was well covered in the local press.
